The Port of Liverpool Building stands out with its large central dome. The building’s shape is almost rectangular, but the corners are slanted and topped with stone domes. It is the fourteenth tallest building in Liverpool, at 67 m (220 ft). Like the neighbouring Cunard Building, the port building has beautiful decorative elements inside and out, including furniture. The Port of Liverpool Building is the oldest of the three great buildings at Pier Head.
